DesmoSouthwest Trackday (Round 5) - Sunday June 29th!

Details: We recommend getting out to Deming by Saturday night at the latest. You want to be rested to ride all day.
1. DesmoSouthwest has rented the ASR track for Sunday June 29th.
2. We will be sharing the track with the Arroyo Seco Track School. This means that we will ride in 30 minute sessions, each taking turns on the track. Most likely the sSchool will be out on the hour and the DS track day attendees on the half hour. We will break for lunch around the 12:30pm hour.
3. It is up to each member to provide their own transportation to the track. I will help coordinate a carpool effort to help those who don't have trailers.
4. It is also up to each member to provide their own lodging. Fortunately, the rates out in Deming are very reasonable. Hotels and on site camping are available. The Holiday Inn, Motel 6, and Days inn seem to be pretty popular. If you are camping, please be at the track Saturday night before sundown. If no campers show up before sundown, the gates will be closed and locked. Otherwise, as long as there's one camper, the gates will stay open.
5. We will have a catered lunch for all participants and their guests! Courtesy of Mai and 'My Family Restaurant'. Please be sure to introduce yourself and give a special thanks to Mai!
COSTS:
- $70 per rider. Includes track rental only. Track fee is non-refundable. PayPal link coming soon. You will be charged $74.66; $2.33 is to cover the PayPal transaction fees and $2.33 is to cover additional banking/processing fees.
Paypal and Credit Card payments are accepted. Please use the 'Special Notes' section on the payment screen to list multiple rider names paying under one payment, etc.

Requirements:
Attendees:
1. All attendees must be a DesmoSouthwest member or guest of a DesmoSouthwest member.
2. A Ducati motorcycle is recommended, this is a Ducati Club :-), but all motorcycles are welcome.
3. All riders attend and participate at their own risk. A signed waiver form will be required on trackday.
Rider:
1. All riders must wear leathers, either one piece or two piece zipped together, and leather gloves. (Textile/Cordura/Balistic type Touring and Sport suits, jackets, and pants are acceptable as long as they have armor.)
2. All riders must have over the ankle motorcycle boots.
3. All riders must wear an undamaged Full Face DOT or equivalent helmet.
4. A limited number of loaner Leather Suits will be available. Please let me know if you need to reserve one.
Motorcycle:
1. All motorcycles must be checked for tire wear. Tires must be in good condition with plenty of tread remaining.
2. All motorcycles must be track prepped before riding on the track. This includes taping or removing mirrors, turn signals, headlights, and taillights. (Experienced members will be available on track day to assist in bike prep)
3. Chains must be in good condition and properly adjusted.
Track rules:
1. Responsible riding is required. No unnecessary wheelies or stunting will be tolerated. Anyone riding recklessly will be asked to leave the track immediately.
2. Further track rules will be given at the riders meeting at the track.
Please be responsible and adhere to the above requirements. You will not be permitted to ride if the above requirements are not met.
