So that means Nicky will have to start finishing top three to keep Ducati on the podium.

    Just kidding.

If Ducati can’t find another rider to ride the bike closer to the front, they are going to have a serious problem.

At least Haga is doing awesome in WSBK.

Hopefully Lorenzo takes the offer and joins the team. Would be nice to see multiple Ducati riders on the podium.

The more I think about this, the more it seems like absolute lunacy, and more on the part of Ducati than Lorenzo. The only way this makes sense at all is if Ducati is pretty certain that Lorenzo would be faster than Stoner, since they would have to be paying him more than Stoner to get him to ride the bike.

Like I said, given recent history, absolute lunacy. I’ll watch the news to see what happens. I really can’t see this deal going through.

So much for Lorenzo. Looks like he was using Ducati as a bargaining chip. He’s re-signed with Yamaha. This was the smart thing to do, since I think it’s unpredictable what Rossi will do in the next 2 years.
